Very helpful indeed. Why a missing star? Guys, I had double-slash comments in Localizable.strings, and the app told me its garbage data. It understands only /* and */. Appart from that, very clean output.

The application doesn’t really work for me. Not only it refuses to save (something I will contact the support about) the merged strings, but it also lacks critical options to work with complex architectures and dynamic keys. For a very simple application, it might do the job, but it doesn’t really improve upon genstrings, as advertised. I hope my small contribution will enable them to significantly improve the application.
This app is a true time saver & very comfortable to use. 4 Stars because Id love to have a "repeat" feature as I dont want to re-add all the files again and again. Thanks for the contribution!
Fantastic app, exactly what I was looking for. I would also welcome a repeat function or maybe you could allow dropping an Xcode project and simply take all .m files from that project.
I love this app. It just saved me at least two hours of super stupid work updating my .strings files. I can heartly recommend it for keeping your .strings files in sync with your source files.
The translations of our apps are done externally - having a /* NEW */ on new translations is a requirement for us. Therefore this app saves us a lot of time, money and donkey work since there are no manual steps involved any more. Thank you - we love it!
Great app. Works as advertised. It could really use two tweaks: - A way to remember the selected folders and .strings files for the next time. Ideally a config file that can be checked into the Xcode project repo. - A setting to disable the /* NEW */ comment, because diff / version control like git solves this.
I bought the app because I have to localize my app into multiple languages and the other users seem to be excited about the app. But unfortunately I can not use the app, whenever I want to generate the strings, there is an error popup and I have no idea what to do.
In a multi-developer setup, simply using genstrings, it was a nightmare, translation were forgotten, duplicates were created, files were disorganized, hard to merge, etc. Now that I have this little tool, finding localization to translate is easy, files are clean, no strings are missed, no duplicates. I wouldve written a PerlScript to do the same, but at 4$, it is a well-spent amount to save me 1 hours of perl-script.
Does one thing and does it well, good buy!
Simply works and saves time.
it’s really easy and efficient, I’m glad I purchased this tool!
This app makes it really easy to update the localization files from your project. Drag, drop, click, done! Very quick and easy. Thanks!
Simple tool, will save you tons of time. Many thanks to the developer. If you charged for this, I would pay.
Wish I had seen this one before I (foolishly) puchased a different one. This is how its supposed to work. Great job. PS I would have paid a few bucks for it.
This is a very handy app since it will tell you what strings have changed between versions of your application and will mark them with /* NEW */ in Localizable.strings.
I only just started using this app but it seems to be exactly what I was looking for. Drop your source folder on the left and your .lproj folders on the right and let it go. Keeps things clean and preserves comments. Great work!
very useful…
You must get this. The key feature is that it handles the SECOND batch of translation. Genstrings can do the first, but as soon as you need five new strings added your life gets complicated. But this app is just drag-project, drag-project, hit button. It does the diff and merge for you. It even works if you didnt use it for the first translation pass. Its a thing of beauty.
Does exactly what I need it to do. I love simple utilities that just work.
